We've only had 2 every day for a week.

Blakesley Root Beer of 2009

This summer Dad and Mom took us to a really old restaurant on the way home from vacation.
Its a really old drive in, but Uncle Judd found it, and it won the Blakesley Root Beer party this year, so we had to check it out in person.

Very cool place. I like fizzy drinks, and root beer floats... but the dogs were not my favorite. Maybe they should just call it "Suds".

Ben likes the corn dog, or the car?
I said no to a picture this day...

But its such a cool drive-in, that they have old cars come for a car show here on summer nights.
Papa liked looking under the hoods at the cool old engines.
Ben and Dad liked this one the best. It reminded Mom of her favorite show "Burn Notice", so she liked it, too. Maybe Ben will build a car like this to drive when he's big.
(Me and Will must have been too busy for pictures this day.)
It was a good summer.

My Brother is Three Years Old

We spent half of Ben's birthday at the zoo.
When Ben was two, and we saw the tiger for the first time, he cried and told us that the Tiger cannot look at him. He is a very showy tiger guy, and he must have known that Ben was bigger this time. The tiger paced in front of Ben to say happy birthday about 10 times! It never got old (He's the cute boy in green stripes... not the stangers next to him):

Here's the rest of us, too. We love the giraffe family, and always discuss which is the Mom and which the Dad. They are cool. Ben and I like to hang on the rails like monkeys.

New Things

We had an amazingly overbooked summer, sorry not to keep you up on life with my brothers... but first things first:

My baby brother has two new things in his mouth this week!(and slightly less fluid in his ear than last week...)

And after moving to a new house (which Ben calls our clean house, since our old house got so full of boxes and suitcases that we couldn't walk through it for a couple of days...)
Here are the two best things that got moved:

We LOVE our new house. You should see it. It has stairs. It is closer to my school. My room is huge.

June at last, June at last!

Check us out- Ben can say may name!!!He no longer calls me "Tha-tha". I am now "May-wee". Ben won't let me help him much anymore, he doesn't want to be a baby. He says "I do it myself" at least every 2 minutes. He likes to be the story teller, and he likes to sing the teamwork song, but only if no one sings with him... ?

We're having happy days in nice weather:)

Green leaves on the trees in our forest make for nice adventure walks.

The ducklings are getting bigger. They are kid ducks now.

The Mom and Dad ducks hiss at us- even while they are picking up the bread we feed them!
We thought they might bite us... but they didn't.

June has come, the mustache has gone. Mom is thrilled.
I liked it. Ben asked Dad if he can grow one this month, but not until Saturday night, he says.

The Recipe

Yesterday we made "the recipe".
Aunt Amelia taught it to me a couple years ago.

She only used two ingredients- my two favorite foods!

She is a genius.
