Today I fell in love with a baby cow.
He was at the children's museum with us, and Ben found him first, but I went back to feed him and take care of him 3 times. I'll be going back to take care of him again soon- he misses me.(As do Abbey and Tanzy. I still pray for my dogs every night, and I cry when I'm tired, because they miss me. I'm glad they have Grandma and Papa to take care of them.)
The children's museum was very fun today! Mom thinks its funny that Madison only has very earthy things in the museum. A big garden room, with a farmer's market and juice bar:
A city building room- all very energy conscious, a dairy farm room, where you can milk cow statues the old way- with your hands, or the new way with a machine to suck the milk out. A room with a tent, jeep, and dinosaur bones... (Mom wouldn't let us dig in the sand, though?!?)
And there is one room that is very earthy and wooden and fancy- with lots of toys
and a rock sink! (Benny's Favorite Part... But I sang him the song of "At the Soap and Water Fountain- and showed him which part of the water was the pretend soap)

Leave it to Madison to represent with a play farmers market. Did they have a brats processing station, where you could see how the piggy turns into dinner? Looks like you guys had a blast at the children's museum. Wish we could play there too, Owen will have to settle for the Harmon's grocery store where you can hear Cow's mooing in the milk section. Keep the new posts coming!
Hey, Mary and Ben!
That looks like a fun place! In the Madison, Alabama children's museum, we have a milking cow and a vegetable patch, too AND there's a machine we can use to remove the bolls from freshly picked cotton. Oh, and there's a hunting section complete with real animal skins. It's pretty exciting :)

Hi Mary and Ben!! We love to see your pictures. It sure looks like you had a LOT of fun. We don't have a children's museum. can you believe it? Mom says that the National Childrens Museum should be done soon. We'll see. We love you.

Wow Mary's face looks soo grown up in her picture peeking through the wooden railing...I can't believe how tall she is! Good thing you're all coming for a visit next month- if we waited much longer I might not recognize my little MaryAnnie;-)
