He is a very smart boy. Since he learned it on his own, I like to teach him to fold his arms more, but then we have to say extra prayers.

Learning to Pray
Every night we have family prayer. It is usually after Benny is in bed. Actually, for the last 3 weeks he cries through all other prayers because everyone closes their eyes, and he can't make anyone laugh... But Benny learned a new trick this week. Folding his arms!!! He even did it at church. On Dad's lap, Dad said "fold your arms" and Benny folded his arms DURING a prayer.

He has also learned to climb on EVERYTHING(especially the little rocking chair), so when Mom says "sit on your bottom", Benny now sits down and grabs each elbow to fold his arms! Then he says "dis, dis" until everyone else folds their arms. Then he laughs and starts climbing again.

I love this! Lucas just learned how to "pray." He too folds his arms, which is one of my favorite things. If we forget to pray over food, he folds his arms and says, "pray." Just recently, he started saying his own prayers, babbling, then saying, "AMEN!" I love these baby boys who aren't babies anymore. Don't love the climbing so much. Wish we lived closer so they could grow up together!

LOL- Awesome! Good work Benny boy! In the top picture I especially admire Ben's ability to exhibit the superior use of his belly...as an arm rest for BOTH arms during times of leisure or contentment...hehehe;)
Way to go Ben. We are very impressed. We're glad you have such a cute older sister to teach you these things. I guess we will need to have a big "family prayer" next time we are all together.
